There’s much to celebrate recently with beaches reopening this week, but we’re still practicing social distancing as we celebrate. Why not grab some of you favorite cocktails to go? With restaurants and retail reopening, there are still a few cautionary restrictions in place including a 25% occupancy limit. Ordering to go is your best bet while you’re having a bit of fun in the sun and keeping a safe distance from others. Check out some of our faves below!
ROYAL PALM GRILLE
Located inside Surfside Resort in Destin, check out Royal Palm Grille’s full-service restaurant and beach bar. You can also get food to go from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. They’re having by one, get one sushi rolls– a deal you can’t beat. Make sure to give them a ring ahead and find out why they were voted Best Chef in Destin!
PEPITO’S
Pepito’s is not only a local go-to, but they’re located all over the Emerald Coast. You can call ahead to order for curbside pick-up between 12 and 8 p.m. in Fort Walton Beach, Niceville, Destin-West, and Destin-East/Miramar. They’re serving margaritas by the half and full gallon for $25 and $45, respectively. Grab yours on the rocks or frozen! Our fave is their mango margarita!
THE RED DOOR SALOON
The Red Door Door Saloon is a down-home bar offering drinks, hot dogs, steamed sandwiches and more. Try their pineapple upside down cocktail with their specialty mushroom Swiss burger. Happy hour is until 7 p.m. but they’re open until 10 p.m.
BOATHOUSE OYSTER BAR
It wouldn’t be Destin if we didn’t include a seafood spot! Boathouse is your go to for your next crawfish boil order or if you’re in the need of some peel-and-eat shrimp. Don’t forget to grab a beer or two to wash it all down. They’re updating their menu almost daily so be sure to check them out here.
