Burrito del Sol– This family owned business came from humble beginnings as a Destin food truck, and takes pride in their food with homemade salsa, guacamole, seasonings, and sauces. Our favorites: Daily Catch fish tacos, and Chicken Chipotle Burrito cooked in-house hot sauce!
Pepitos– Pepitos serves authentic Mexican dishes made with fresh ingredients, including fresh-made salsas and handmade tamales. With two locations in Destin and Miramar Beach, it has never been easier to find authentic Mexican cuisine when vacationing. Our favorites include Tamales and Fajitas.
Mi Casita– Located in Seaside, this 30A restaurant is becoming increasingly popular and the new local favorite. Known for their laid-back style and amazing food it is easy to see why. Our favorites: pork carnitas and street tacos.
Beber (Let’s Drink!)

Back Porch– Although this is not a Mexican restaurant they do offer some great margaritas and the beach location cannot be beat! Grab a margarita or two and watch the sunset with the sand at your feet.
La Paz– Has been voted the best Margarita in Destin. Their secret: fresh juices and top shelf tequilas. A local favorite is the infused fresh pineapple and jalapeno in a silver tequila.
Margaritaville– the list would not be complete without a trip to the famous Margaritaville located in HarborWalk Village. Between the Changes in Latitudes, Where’s the Party, and the Last Mango in Paris, you’re sure to get wasted away again in Margaritaville. (Just make sure you have a safe ride home if that’s the case!)

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with your friends at AJ’s on the Destin Harbor.
Enjoy Margarita and Taco specials all day and Live music. There will be $4 house Margaritas on the rocks! The party starts at 11:00 am.
Drinko de Mayo Fiesta at Pepito’s
Pepito’s is turning 21 this year and they are celebrating with “Drinko de Mayo”. Enjoy drink specials, live music, and all-day fun and night. The party is from 11:00 AM- 10:00 PM at both the Destin and Miramar location.
Cinco de Mayo Day Celebration at Mi Gente Mexican Restaurant & Cantina + Supermarket
Get the party started at Mi Gente Mexican Restaurant & Cantina, Destin Fl. Live music including Mariachi Band from 5:00 PM- 8:00 PM, a DJ, and a performance from La Sonora Dinamita at 10:00 PM. There will be specials on Margaritas, Draft Beer, and Buckets with Beer. With limited capacity, we recommend making reservations in advance.
